Tucked away in the rear of the District 1 medical center is Family Medical Practice’s Emergency Room where the ever-watchful gaze of Dr. Allan oversees one of its most critical areas. Joining the team in mid-2012, Dr. Allan brings almost a decade of Emergency experience to each patient that he sees.

Choosing the fast-paced life of an Emergency doctor came naturally to the specialist, saying that this kind of work environment best ‘matches my personality’—where the opportunity to make life-changing differences for his patients every hour of every day brings out his best work.

Rising to the challenge of mass casualty incidents and a diverse range of undifferentiated conditions in an incredibly fast-paced work environment (where he is exposed to patients of all ages, shapes and sizes) sees him thrive in FMP’s ER.

Fascinated by astrophysics and sacred geometry, Dr. Paras gets his adrenaline rush while outside of the ER by cycling, trekking and combat training.

Dr. Allan received his MD at St. Luke’s College of Medicine in the Philippines, and his Emergency Medicine & Mass Casualty Specialty training at the Manila Doctor’s Hospital. He speaks English and Tagalog.
