수족구 유행

2018년 10월 수족구가 유행하고 있습니다. 수족구는 발진과 입 속의 병변을 동반한 바이러스 질환으로 엔테로 바이러스가 원인입니다. 영아와 유아가 쉽게 걸릴 수 있으며, 성인은 보통 바이러스 메개체가 됩니다. 최근 몇년 동안 수족구는 동남아시아 전역에 유행하고 있는 추세입니다.

뎅기열 유행 주의

뎅기열은 아데스 모기에 의한 4가지 종류의 바이러스에 의해 발생합니다. 가벼운 증상으로는 고열, 발진, 심한 두통, 근육통, 관절염 등이 나타납니다. 심하면 뎅기 출혈열이나 뎅기 쇼크 증후군이 나타나며, 이로 인해 심각한 출혈이 발생하거나 혈압이 떨어지고, 장기의 기능이 저하되는 현상이 생겨 사망에 이를 수도 있습니다.

2018년 10월 최근 몇 주 사이 호치민시에 A형 바이러스에 의한 독감이 유행하고 있음이 본 의료진에 의해 확인되었습니다. A형 독감 바이러스는 전염성이 강하며 일반 감기에 비해 증상이 심하게 나타납니다. 기침과 같은 호흡기 증상이 심하게 나타나는 환자는 외부에 추가 감염을 일으킬 수 있으니 외출을 삼가셔야 합니다.

호치민시에 사는 어린이들도 다른 전세계 아이들처럼 수두 바이러스에 노출되곤 합니다. 대부분의 어린이들은 증상이 경미하고 일시적으로 나타납니다. 합병증이 나타나는 경우는 흔하지는 않지만 폐렴, 뇌염, 간염과 같은 위험한 합병증이 생길 수 있습니다. 하지만, 수두에 감염되기 전에 백신을 접종하면 수두를 미리 예방할 수 있고, 합병증을 피할 수 있습니다.
